Cannabis, tramadol, extol seized as NDLEA nabs 3 suspects in Yobe

The Yobe State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced the arrest of 3 drug traffickers in the state. The command’s Media and Advocacy Officer, Ramatu SB, revealed this in a statement to the press in Damaturu. She said the officers on patrol along Gashua/ Nguru Road caught the suspects.

She identified the suspects as Musa Sani, 32yrs, Mohammed Ibrahim, 21yrs, and Adamu Usman, 20yrs. Ramatu SB said the suspects had some substances believed to be cannabis sativa weighing 15.7kg, tramadol 5000 tablets and exol 123,500 tablets. She also said that a subsequent investigation led to the capture of one Mustapha Goni, aka Lolo, the alleged owner of 5000 tablets of tramadol 225mg and 123,500 tablets of exol in Geidam LGA of the state.

She added that the agents also seized one Ali Ibrahim AKA Ramos, the alleged owner of 94.74kg of cannabis sativa on the same day, place and time.
