The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has nabbed Bandits’ Drug Supplier and Three Others for allegedly trafficking illegal drugs in Kwara State. Two of them were caught in a hotel in Ilọrin, where they sold cannabis sativa, tramadol and methamphetamine. Another one was intercepted on the highway with cannabis, while heading to Kebbi State. The fourth one, a 21-year-old woman, was used as a hawker of the drugs.
Commander Ibrahim Mohammed, the NDLEA boss, said the arrests were based on intelligence from their stop-and-search operations in Ilọrin. He said the hotel was a notorious hub for drug dealing and other crimes. He added that the suspect on the highway was a supplier of drugs to bandits in Kebbi and Zamara states. He said they would all face legal action.
